Interlink ‘TxAccessControl’ is a secure and reliable access control solution which works seamlessly with biometric terminals. It allows, organizations requiring high levels of security, to better manage and monitor protection and quickly respond to security breaches. This is highly scalable system for monitoring and logging of personnel movements at defined entry and exit points. It is a highly customizable security solution designed for use with the existing IT infrastructure of organizations like business centers, hospitals and government offices. TxAccessControl can be used not only for access control but also for attendance and personnel identification purposes.

Easy integration with other identity verification systems

In addition to fingerprints other identity verification systems include RFID systems, smartcard systems and other biometrics such as voice, handprint, iris, retina & facial recognition systems. TxAccessControl can be easily integrated with all these verification technologies.

Eliminates “buddy punching”

The term “buddy punching” describes one employee using a scan card or a code to punch into an attendance system on the behalf of a tardy or absent employee. The scam allows delinquent employees to go unpunished and repeat their offense, and it costs the business money in unused labor costs. As TxAccessControl uses employee fingerprints, the employee has to be physically present at the site to clock in/ clock out thereby eliminating buddy punching.

Easy configuration

The TxAccessControl software is easy to configure by using the Configuration Utility. Also, the fingerprint match threshold can be set by the user depending on the level of security required at a particular installation location. Higher the level of security required the higher the threshold should be. The utility can also be used to start and stop the TxAccessControl engine.

Entry restrictions can be unique per user per door

Rules can be designed depending on various parameters like time, type of day (working/holiday) & day of the week. These are then combined to form policies. These policies are used to set access restrictions on the users. We can set custom access restrictions for a user i.e. one particular user can have a unique access restriction for each door.

Control multiple doors with single fingerprint reader.

In case of traditional fingerprint based access control systems there is one fingerprint reader at each location and the same fingerprint is used to access each location. However in case of TxAccessControl a single fingerprint reader can be used to control multiple doors by having a mapping between different fingerprint templates of a user and different doors. Thus a user can use his fingers to open different doors from a single fingerprint reader. Hence costs are also minimized.

Reporting Tools

TxAccessControl has simple, user friendly web based reporting interface. It has a lot of reporting tools and can be used to generate various types of reports including attendance reports. Reports can be detailed or summarized. These reports provide a near real time view of the various authorization and authentication activities in the network. The generated reports can be exported to MS EXCEL to be stored for perusal at a future date.

Remotely Configurable

TxAccessControl provides a simple and user friendly interface to add and modify user, fingerprint reader, lock and access restrictions details. The user interface has varying levels of access so that only personnel with higher clearance have the ability to modify device details. Others can only add or modify the users and access restrictions and specify holidays or exceptional working days. These features can be remotely configured using the access manager.
